PlotM8 Setup

PlotM8 is now distributed via a setup program, similar to other Windows programs. PlotM8 is distributed in two types of files, a setup executable and a zipped setup executable (pm8-setup.exe and pm8-setup.zip).

PM8-SETUP.EXE: Double click on pm8-setup.exe to start the install program.

PM8-SETUP.ZIP: First, extract the setup program from the zipped archive. Second, double click on pm8-setup.exe to start the install program.

When PlotM8's setup is complete, load AutoCAD and launch the Options command.

Select the files tab.

Expand the "Support File Search Path".

Pick the "Add" button.

Enter the path where you had the setup program install PlotM8.

Pick OK to close the Options dialog box.

You are now ready to load PlotM8.

You can load PlotM8 via AutoCAD's Appload command or you can load it manually:

To load manually, enter this from the AutoCAD command line: (load "plotm8.vlx")

To run PlotM8, type PM or PlotM8.
