BatchM8 Setup

BatchM8 is now distributed via a setup program, similar to other Windows programs. BatchM8 is distributed in two types of files, a setup executable and a zipped setup executable (bm8-setup.exe and bm8-setup.zip).

BM8-SETUP.EXE: Double click on bm8-setup.exe to start the install program.

BM8-SETUP.ZIP: First, extract the setup program from the zipped archive. Second, double click on bm8-setup.exe to start the install program.

When BatchM8's setup is complete, load AutoCAD and launch the Options command.

Select the files tab.

Expand the "Support File Search Path".

Pick the "Add" button.

Enter the path where you had the setup program install BatchM8.

Pick OK to close the Options dialog box.

You are now ready to load BatchM8.

You can load BatchM8 via AutoCAD's Appload command or you can load it manually:

To load manually, enter this from the AutoCAD command line: (load "batchm8.vlx")

To run BatchM8, type BM8

To run BatchM8 on an individual drawing, type BMSI.
