AutoM8 Setup

AutoM8 is now distributed via a setup program, similar to other Windows programs.
There are two types of AutoM8 setup files: executable (am8-setup.exe) and a zipped setup executable (am8-setup.zip).

AM8-SETUP.EXE: Double click on am8-setup.exe to start the install program.

AM8-SETUP.ZIP: First, extract the setup program from the zipped archive. Second, double click on am8-setup.exe to start the install program.

When AutoM8's setup is complete, load AutoCAD and launch the Options command.

Select the files tab.

Expand the "Support File Search Path".

Pick the "Add" button.

Enter the path where you had the setup program install AutoM8.

Pick OK to close the Options dialog box.

You are now ready to load AutoM8.

You can load AutoM8 via AutoCAD's Appload command or you can load it manually:

To load manually, enter this from the AutoCAD command line: (load "autom8.vlx")

To run AutoM8, type AM or AUTOM8.
